The brief presented required accommodation for speakers at the Borris writers festival - a simple programme required a place for a person to sleep and secure their belongings.

 

The project was resolved around three boxes made of OSB board, a sleeping space, a storage space and a framed door. The three forms are unified with a shrink wrapping used to proected building on site from inclement weather.

 

It is intended to develop the project as a means of erecting short term emergency accommodation in areas where natural disasters may have rendered people homeless.
